I am a mom to 2 fur babies, passionate about all things health, fitness & mindset, and walking this journey just like you! I've tried many workout strategies and nutrition plans to get to a place of what works with minimal effort. My life now is about exercising to be strong and healthy while feeling good in my skin.

 

I started weight training about 20 years ago. I was hooked from the get go. I loved that I could change the shape of my body all while increasing my metabolism and releasing good feeling hormones. My workouts are still tough but I love the way I feel when I get done!

 

Health and fitness were a hobby for a long time during my career in the corporate world. I was thrilled at the opportunity to share this with others. I love teaching. I also love learning. I continue to read books and listen to podcasts everyday, to get the latest in this ever changing industry.

Professional Experience:

I am a personal trainer and health coach with over 10 years in the fitness industry. My experience varies from group exercise in commercial gyms, in home training and nutrition coaching to owning my own private personal training studio.

I am trained and certified through NASM as a certified personal trainer, the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach, and the Mindset Performance Institute as a Certified Mindset Coach. I have also obtained a certification in Food Science, and group exercise formats including hip hop, TRX, cycle, kickboxing, and a form of pilates combined with yoga.

As a graduate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories; everything from Ayurveda, gluten-free, and Paleo, to raw, vegan, and macrobiotics, and everything in between.

 

Some of my personal accomplishments include: 4 years in the U.S. Navy, 3 marathons, 2 figure competitions, a spartan race,
